Most of our guests travel from Germany by plane. There are some connections with Eurowings from Germany to Tivat. Alternatively, the Austrian route can be used from many German cities via Vienna to Podgorica. Many connections with Air Serbia are overnight connections and are therefore very inconvenient and inconvenient.

Traveling by car is very tiring. From Munich to Bar alone it is 1200 km. The route also runs through Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. All of these countries charge a highway toll.

Taxi

Tivat Airport is 62 km away from Marina Bar. The travel time by car is 1.5 hours. Podgorica Airport is 50 km away. This route takes approximately 1 hour. Taxi prices online are €30 each way. That’s no longer true. As of 12/2023, between 50 and 60 € are due per route Podgorica-Marina Bar. If you wish, we will send you a reliable driver who will pick you up from the airport on time. (60 € p/route Podgorica-Bar) (Tivat-Marina Bar on request)

Rental car

All major rental car providers are represented at the airports. The cost of a small car starts at €100 per week including all insurance and mileage. In addition, there are the costs for the guarded parking space in the marina and the petrol costs.

Train

The rail network in Montenegro is limited but is concentrated on important connections, particularly between Bar and Podgorica. This route is only single track. However, we can’t say anything about its reliability. For further information and train timetable information.
