You are getting everything out of one hand with us. From theory to radio training to practical training on board a sailing yacht with the subsequent exams. With our compact courses you will acquire the tools to safely move a sailing yacht.
The IYT Bareboat Skipper (Sail) is an internationally recognized license and entitles you to captain yachts up to 24 m long under sail in coastal sea waters up to 20 nautical miles from the coastline in moderate winds and swells. In this course, the VHF Marine Communication Master SRC is part of the training and examination.
This course is not for the faint of heart .
You have the complete theoretical and practical knowledge for the radio license and the bareboat skipper. The course only lasts 4 days. Of these, 4 1/2 days are reserved for intensive training and on the fourth there are a total of 4 exams.
This course is also well suited for owners who already have experience on yachts but do not yet have an official license.
In this course, the VHF Marine Communication Master SRC is part of the training and examination.
Requirement
- Minimum age 18 years
- On the day of the exam you must have traveled at least 200 nautical miles and 10 days at sea.

Process theory
You learn the theory independently at home whenever you have time (self-taught).
Duration of practical training
You should be able to safely operate a sailing yacht before you come to Bar/Montenegro. We then only have Thursday, Friday and Saturday to eliminate the last uncertainties in maneuvers or radio practice.
All four exams will be taken on Sunday.
Meeting
On board on Wednesday evening or Thursday before 10AM. Training starts Thursday.
Disembarked Sunday after the exam.
